How To: Loose curls with Flat Iron
Only a few hours left until we can start the magical countdown! I think it’s safe to say that this is one of the most important countdowns of the year to most of us. The moment where we share with our important loved ones and wishing each and everyone a splendid New Year ahead at the stroke of midnight as the New Year starts. There is nothing more magical when fireworks fill the air all at once and you can share this special moment with the ones you love.
So it’s not out of the ordinary that we all want to look our best on New Year’s Eve. Now with that being said, I have prepared this easy hair tutorial where you can create loose curls with just a flat iron. I like to use a flat iron over a curling iron for two reasons; (1) it’s faster in use and (2) the curls stay better. Personally I am not a big fan of tied curls but most of the times that’s what you will get when using a styling iron. However, with some practice I have found a way on how to get these sexy sultry loose curls in just a few minutes! Curious? Just follow these steps down below to achieve this look!
Make sure to spray some heat protector onto the hair before curling just to out limit any damage to the hair.
Step 1
Take an inch of your hair and clam it together with the styling iron. The key to create loose curls is to clam the section of hair just tied enough where the hair won’t fall out, so don’t grab it too tight.
Step 2
If you like big voluptuous hair then go up with the styling iron on the roots of the hair to create a little bump. This way you’ll create some volume on the hair.
Step 3
Now slowly pull the iron down while wrapping the ends around the iron like the picture down below.
Step 4
Here you have your first section of loose curled hair. Keep continue the first three steps until you have reached all your hair.
Step 5
If there’s any section of hair where the curls are a bit too tied just lightly straighten that particular curl until desire.
Step 6
One tip; make sure to curl outwards when curling the front sections of hair for a better result.
Et Voila! Here you have your big voluptuous curled hair on New Years Eve. Writing this blog post just made me think of how crazy 2015 have gone by so fast! My next post will be in 2016! I can’t wait for the New Year to start and see what surprises 2016 will hold for me. New year, new beginning, new challenges! I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Happy New Year and I shall talk to you very soon!
