How To: Shape and Pluck Eyebrow
First things first, I would like to apologize for being MIA lately but with the past few holidays, several birthdays and having a fulltime job on the side was just a bit too overwhelming for me to still manage content for the blog. Of course, can’t forget the poor weather we are having lately, ‘cause it ain’t cooperating well with the photo shoots. Instead of stressing myself out I took a small break from RevealMyStyle but don’t worry guys from now on I will try my best to keep on track again!
To kick off the first post of 2016 lets get started with this easy peasy tutorial where I show you the basic steps on how to get your eyebrows #onfleek but still remain your natural eyebrow shape.
Lets say you’re plucking your eyebrows for the first time, it always comes in handy to use a guideline beforehand ‘cause you know what they say: if eyes are the windows to our soul then eyebrows should be the picture frame of our face, so you don’t want to mess up this part. Now follow the following steps to see how it’s done.
Take a thin pencil as a tool to guide you through these steps. First hold the pencil straight up to the side of your nose and draw a small stroke next to the pencil, here is where your eyebrow should start.
Tilt the pencil to the pupil and it will show you where the arch of your eyebrow should be. Mind you to look forward at this step and mark the highest point of your eyebrow.
Point the pencil to the outer corner of the eye and it will show where the eyebrow should end.
Now follow the marked lines and outline your natural eyebrow shape as a guideline for later on. At this point all you need to do is pluck away those outgrown hair around the eyebrow that you just drew. Et voila! Just wash off the marked lines and you’ll have your nice plucked eyebrow!
If you keep up maintaining your eyebrows on a regular basis this guideline won’t be needed after the first time. I hope you guys have enjoyed these little tips & tricks tutorial. Until next time sweethearts!
