My Daily Go-To Products
I am such a girl when it comes down to makeup products. I’ve always found makeup interesting at a very young age. I remember how I always loved to watch my mother get ready for the day, especially when she would put on her red lipstick. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on makeup products one day. Now don’t get me wrong, I am all about natural beauty, but I love how makeup can give us that extra self-confidence and give us the ability to have fun with our looks.
After a long period, I have finally found the products that I love and that works for me on a daily basis. I often get questions about what kind of products I use. So for today I decided to share my daily go-to products with you. I hope you’ll enjoy today’s post and find the products somewhat helpful.
1. Chanel – Perfection Lumière Velvet
I have tried a lot of foundation over the years and to be quite honest I haven’t found the perfect foundation yet but this one comes close. This foundation has a light to medium coverage. I don’t like heavy or sticky foundation, but this one is nothing like that at all, it’s very lightweight. It feels like you have nothing on, it has a velvet finish and gives the skin a beautiful sheer sheen. I would definitely recommend this foundation for the ones with normal to oily skin types, as this foundation tends to emphasize dry patches.
2. Rimmel London – Professional Eyebrow Pencil
I am not very picky on eyebrow pencils, as long as it’s easy to apply, I will be fine. The brush on the cap makes it effortless to blend out harsh lines, which makes it very easy to use. I have been using this eyebrow pencil for years now and I am still satisfied.
3. Benefit Cometics – Gimme Brow
My eyebrows can be a mess sometimes and can use some help to get them in the right place. This eyebrow gel helps to get all the little hairs to stay put, and produces a fuller look for the eyebrow.
4. M.A.C. – Mineralize Skinfinish
I don’t use face powder often, but lately I have been using this powder on my eyelids to prevent my eyeliner from smudging. They tend to get oily sometimes, which makes it easier for the eyeliner to transfer to my eyelids. For the ones who are having the same problem, try this trick out ‘cause it works like wonder!
5. Etos – Kohl Pencil
This eyeliner pencil is a very inexpensive one from a drugstore brand in The Netherlands. I only use this one to mark the eyeliner shape I want, so that I can easily trace the shape with liquid eyeliner. I find it easier to make the eyeliner precise with an eye pencil but love the finish of a liquid liner. I know it’s a shame as I have been using liquid liners for years, but I still can’t get a proper line in one go without messing it up.
6. Kanebo Kate – Super Sharp Liner
I have been using this liquid eyeliner for the past couple of years and have never used another one since. The very thin, yet firm brush applicator allows you to create the most precise line.
7. Maybelline – Fit Me Concealer
Once I tried this concealer, I instantly fell in love with it. This concealer has a handy dove foot applicator that gives you great control of how much product you want to apply. This Maybelline concealer is very lightweight and blends seamlessly into the skin.
8. Koji – Eyelash Curler
I love this eyelash curler. This eyelash curler has a nice curve that sits perfectly on the eye, which gets every single eyelash curled.
9. Kanebo Sensai – Mascara 38°C (volumizing)
This mascara is definitely my all time favorite. It creates volume and separates my lashes well, and the best part; it’s 100% smudge proof!
10. M.A.C. – Powder Blush
There’s proof of how much I really like this blush as I finally hit pan (haha)! M.A.C. blushes seems to last forever. This product has no shimmer; it gives the cheeks a very subtle rose color blush, which I really adore!
11. Zoeva - Rose Golden Luxury Set
I got these brushes almost three weeks ago and I have been using these Zoeva brushes ever since. These brushes are very soft and gentle on the skin.
12. Maybelline – Baby Lips
I have definitely found my all time favorite chapstick! I have quite sensitive lips and what I love about this chapstick is that it’s not only moisturizing, but it also doesn’t leave my lips dry with patches. Aside from that, it gives the lips a subtle hint of rosy color and if you like the smell of cherry’s then you will absolutely love this one.
13. Estée Lauder – Pure Color Envy Sculpting
I have finally found the perfect ‘my-lips-but-better’ lip color. I have never used Estée Lauder lip products before, but will surely buy some back-ups on this one. This lipstick is so moisturizing and creamy. The one I am using is called Dynamic; it’s a rosy nude color, which doesn’t make your face look pale! This product is definitely a hit for me!
