Cozy Pullover with a Feminine Twist
What should I wear in my first blog post? This question kept repeating in my mind. Of course, I shouldn’t overthink this question but I wanted to make sure that my outfit is going to showcase my personality properly.
Comfortable is what I find the most important when I get dressed. So it didn’t take too long for me to put this look together. Since I really do love-me-some warm and comfortable pullovers and (believe me) these cold winter days seriously scream for that big, chunky, warm sweater; I went with this boxy gingham pattern jumper.
For those of you who don’t know me yet; I’m quite a petite girl, so it’s essential for me to keep in mind that my clothes won’t swallow me up. So for that reason I decided to throw on my trusty, comfortable skinny ripped jeans under my boxy jumper, just to bring back my shape.
Since this outfit is getting to look a little bit edgy, I went for heels instead of boots or sneakers and (of course) to add some height. I have had these shoes for quite some time now and it seems like I still can’t get over them yet. I just love these shoes. The detail and the gold buckles give them a feminine, but also, edgy look and most importantly; the heel isn’t too high and the plateau allows me to cheat a little bit. Okay, I have to admit, I’m a terrible high-heel walker so this one, luckily, is doable.
I don’t know when it started, but lately I find myself looking towards small bags. This Rebecca Minkoff small shoulder bag really saved me from those shoulder and back pains. I like how this shoulder bag can make any outfit look interesting. I often get compliments from people about this bag; so it’s definitely a conversation starter.
To finish up this look, I just went for a cozy woolen coat and a big, chunky woolen scarf, to keep me warm from these cold days.
