Top 5 Lip Balms
Are you also addicted to lip balms? Now you see, I have a thing for lip balms; I like to have at least one in all of my bags just to know I am set whenever I go out. And it gets even crazier since I always make sure that every area of my house has a lip balm.
Yeah, I guess I just like my lips to be soft and smooth whenever and wherever I need it to be, huh? The thought of not carrying one around while I am on the go just freaks me out, so I always end up buying one right away if I forget to bring one. I guess that explains why my lip balm collection just keeps expanding and even till the point where it’s kind of getting out of control. But hey, at least they are moisturized, haha. So for the lip balm lovers out there, who are always on a hunt for a good chapstick, I have narrowed down my 5 most favorite ones for you!
1. Rosebud Perfume – Smith’s Minted Rose Lip Balm
I have already gone through a few of the Smith’s lip balms, but I have to say that this Minted Rose one is definitely one of my favorite out of their collection. I love the refreshing peppermint taste and the cooling effect on the lips once it’s applied. What I mostly love about this lip balm is that it keeps my lips moisturized for a good few hours after just one application, touch ups are rarely needed.
2. Maybelline – Baby lips in ‘Cherry Me’
If you’ve been following my blog, you’ll know that this chapstick by Maybelline has been my go-to for quite some time now. This chapstick is not only moisturizing, but it also has a very yummy scent to it just like its name holds - it smells like cherry’s. I can’t stop smelling at it. I mean, you can’t go wrong with cherry’s right? And if all these pros aren’t enough to convince you, it also gives your lips a nice subtle rosy color, so whenever I don’t feel like wearing lipstick then this one here will do the trick for me.
3. Vaseline – Lip Therapy in ‘Pink Bubbly’ (Limited Edition)
I have been using this Vaseline Lip Therapy lip balm for ages now. I like how this product feels so lightweight on the lips, so I mostly use this at night before I go to bed and my lips still feels moisturized the next day I wake up. For the ones who love rosy scents, I guarantee you’ll fall in love with this one. Although, I have to say I am not a super huge fan of rose flavor scents, this one is bearable since it isn’t too overwhelming and I can even taste a bit of that sweetness which isn’t bad.
4. Burt’s Bees
I love this chapstick for its natural ingredients. This chapstick contains rich vitamins such as coconut and sunflower, so it surely does a great job at nourishing and conditioning the lips. The peppermint oil that’s also added in this lip balm gives a nice refreshing tingling feeling to the lips.
5. EOS – Smooth Sphere Lip Balm in ‘Honeysuckle Honeydew’
Now, last but definitely not least this EOS lip balm is known for its all natural ingredients, so that’s already a huge plus! This lip balm does a great job at moisturizing the lips, but what I do find is that the moisturizing feeling doesn’t really last that long, so you do have to reapply once in a while. And can we please take a moment for its packaging? I mean doesn’t it look super cute? The egg shape of this product really provides a great grip on the lip balm and the scent of honeydew is nice and refreshing!
So guys these are my top 5 lip balms of all time! Hope you guys like today’s post and will love these products as much as I do! Until next time sweeties!
