Neutral Tones and Patterns
Now that all our heartwarming holidays are over, I am all set and ready to say goodbye to this winter season, as I can’t wait to welcome spring all over again. For someone who can’t stand the cold very well it will come as no surprise that I’ve been secretly doing the countdown already. Yes, we are only 12 days away! As the weather is slowly but surely changing right now, I thought I should go with the flow and might start adding more lighter and neutral tones into my outfits as well – just to brighten things up.
I have been looking for stripe knitwear for the longest time now, but never could’ve found one that fits my body type well until I found this one. I love how this knitwear looks and feels comfortable; it’s loose fitted, which means there is more option for you to take on with this ensemble. To give the outfit a hint of sophisticated touch I went with a fine waist belt to bring out my feminine curves. Since I wanted to stay on the more neutral toned color palette I paired it with this beige-colored ripped skinny jeans. It looks neat but also has a casual vibe to it due to the ripped details. Like I said before, I don’t like the cold to say the least, so one layer is not enough for me, especially with Dutch weather. Underneath I wore a simple but playful plaid shirt, other than to keep me warm it also adds a nice dimension to the whole look. To add a bit of color I went with one of my ankle boots that has two tone colors: burgundy at the front and black color at the back.
Accessories wise, I chose to wear this gorgeous statement piece necklace that I’ve found in sale at Topshop. This necklace was truly a bargain; I couldn’t believe that it only costs a few euros for a piece that has so much going on with the details. I love how the blue and green color look against the silver and gold hardware, it makes the necklace a bit more interesting. I’m not a typical person that loves much of the rhinestones but this one here will definitely do.
Now last but not least; I wore my favorite watch by Larsson and Jennings that I’m totally obsessed with for the past few months. I love how it’s so simple and clean and it goes very well with anything I’m wearing. This watch here is such a great staple piece to have and it’s a great addition to any girl’s accessory collection.

Well it’s 10 days now! Have a L&J watch which I’ve worn for almost 3 years now. Best purchase ever and I agree on how classic it is :)
Happy Thursday dear.
