Barcelona Haul
It’s already been a couple of weeks now since I got back from my trip to Barcelona, and I’m still missing the city till this day. There were tons of fun things to do beside sightseeing, and all the great foods. For all you shopaholics out there (including myself), if you want to shop till you drop then Barcelona is the place where you want to be! I just got lost while shopping, and bought some nice goodies during my trip. From tech stuff to beauty stuff you’ll find them all in this Barcelona haul post.
Barcelona has left me with some great memories, and when it comes down to shopping, entering Sephora was definitely one of my greatest highlights of the trip. Being the makeup junkie as I am, I was lost for a good few hours in this humongous makeup store that I like to call ‘beauty heaven’. I felt sorry for my boyfriend - it must have bored the crap out of him, but being the sports person as he is, he didn’t complain at all but instead he granted me his precious time to enjoy this moment. Such a sweetie bear, isn’t he?! Props to him! All right, back to Sephora; I have heard a lot of great stuff about Nars but never had the chance to get my hands on their products. So as you can guess, as soon as I saw this brand I was overexcited and tried out nearly every single product that they own. Luckily, after some hard time of picking and choosing I finally made my decision and bought a few items of their brand. And of course, besides Nars I did buy some other things from other brands that are also hard to find in the Netherlands, such as Too Faced and Makeup Forever.
Then we have this Escada fragrance, which I have been regretting of not buying the regular size, ‘cause it smells heavenly amazing! Since the first day we landed, my boyfriend and I could smell a very pleasant odor whenever a Spanish woman would pass us by. This scent smells so good that it made us turn our heads, just so that we could grasp onto that scent a little bit longer. I know it sounds a bit creepy, but that’s how lovely it smells. From that moment on, my boyfriend and I decided to go for a hunt and we were determined to find this fragrance. At Sephora, we started to smell at all those fragrances, but of course the chance to find that particular scent is like looking for a needle in a haystack. So I thought my hope was gone, but not until we were waiting in line and I started to smell at these cute little travel size fragrances and the minute I smelled this fragrance by Escada I knew I have found the one! I am not very good at describing scents, but this one here definitely smells sweet and fruity. Though I normally don’t gravitate towards sweet scents, I do like this one ‘cause the sweetness is very subtle and it smells very clean. Now every time when I use this fragrance it reminds me of the good times in Spain.
Second store that made my heart beat faster was Kiko, ‘cause this time it came as a surprise to me as I didn’t expect to bump into this store. I have never tried their products before, but the minute I started to swipe their lipsticks and eyeliners I knew I have to get one of these products. I do have to say that for such an affordable brand they really have some good quality products and not to mention their packaging are to die for!
The last two things that I bought are more techs related. The nice three-color gradient of this phone charger immediately caught my attention. I love how the gold, the green, and the pink color blend beautifully together. Since my phone always tend to die on me, I thought why not buy this phone charger, right? So I just bought it for above mentioned reasons, and besides - it looks cute as an accessory while carrying it around.
Now, lets take a look at this Instax camera by Fuji, which I just couldn’t help but keep looking at it in store. I have wanted an Instax camera for the longest time now, but find the old ones a bit too bulky for my liking so I never bothered buying it. What caught my attention of this Instax camera mini 90 is its design; it looks cleaner and it’s a bit more compact, so it makes it easier to carry around. Also what I love about this camera is how this one has a more old school look to it, which I have been looking for all this time!
Well guys, as you can see it has been a very successful trip, haha. I’m going to leave you guys for now as I am going to play and practice with my Instax camera. So as always thank you all for reading and I shall talk to you guys very soon!

http://www.vivienekok.blogspot.comYou should get yourself some of the Kiko’s products, they’re really good! I I can’t say of the Mini 90 is lighter than the old ones ’cause I have never earned one of those, but it’s definitely less bulky. Hope it helps ;)
I need that Naked palette. Looks like you had a really successful trip to Barcelona! That is on my bucket list.
